About MDS

MDS Inter College was launched with the student-teacher ratio being 6:1 for personal attention to students and that’s how the pass percentage is 99%. The school takes pride in its excellent teaching methodology.

This school runs classes from 6 to 12 to provide education to students in three different academics i.e. Science, Commerce, and Arts. Most of the students are admitted from junior school MDKV which is run by the same management trustee. Students finish studies up to Std V and then they are migrated to MDS from Std VI. The current student strength of the school is running on optimum capacity.

The school has given exceptional results in the academic sphere and its students have excelled in extra co-curricular activities also.

Sahu Jain Degree College

Sahu Shanti Prasad Jain was an industrialist and philanthropist of India. He was the son-in-law of Ramkrishna Dalmia and former chairman of Bennett, Coleman.

His family, Sahu Jains, owns the Times of India newspaper group. He was born on 22nd May 1911 Najibabad and died on 27th October 1977.

He was actively involved in charity and education which was actively supported by his wife Mrs Rama Jain.

Both the institutes like MDKV girl’s college and MDS college were started for providing good education in Najibabad.

Sahu Jain education trust started MDS College and MDKV Girls College, most of the students finished their schooling in MDKV and MDS College.

He also started Sahu Jain Degree College as well.

Triple MA in English, Psychology, and Sanskrit.

Late Mrs Manorma Gupta- ex Principal of MDKV Girls College, Triple MA in English, Psychology and Sanskrit, president award winner.

She dedicated her life to the education and retired from college with 2 years extension.

She took the cause of girl’s education and produced the best results in the state.

She was actively involved in social service of providing scholarships for deserving girls and also assisted many of them to get married.

Late Mr. R. N Kela- Ex principal of MDS College.

He dedicated his life for the upliftment of education standard in MDS College.

And finally started one more education institute by his name Acharya R.N. Kela Inter College High School Najibabad.

Born on 1-4-1953 in Delhi.

His Late father Mr. K.C. Ghai established shell dealership and became a prominent businessman in 1948.

Anil Ghai Did his schooling from India’s Best Boarding School THE SCINDIA SCHOL GWALIOR and Later His Graduation from Nainital & MSc Org First Division from Sahu Jain College.

He did his inter-Science from MDS College in 1970.

He initiated to form Moorti Devi Saraswati Inter College Alumni,  Najibabad and formed Old Boys Association in January 2020 for bonding and connecting with old students on completing 50 years of passing out.

Mr. Rajiv Nayan Gupta son of Mrs Manorma Gupta, born in Najibabad on 23rd July 1954, passed out from MDS College in 1971.

After completing his 12th Commerce from MDS College, completed graduation in Commerce from Lucknow University in 1973 and then completed Hotel management from IHM Pusa, a premium hotel management institute in Delhi in the year 1976.

Joined hospitality industry worked with premium hotels in Lucknow and Mumbai and finally started his own business of Design and built of Commercial kitchen for IT, Hospitality and BPO’s by the brand of Prime and Prochef.
